Dhaka RCSC discussed the role of the USSR and Russia in the development of Bangladesh

Dhaka, 29 December, 2020:

the Russian Center for Science and Culture (RCSC) in Dhaka hosted a round table discussion regarding the role of the USSR and Russia in the formation and development of Bangladesh. The event was co-organized with the Liberation War Academy Trust.

Chairman of the Academy Trust Abul Azad and Director of the RCSC Maxim Dobrokhotov reminded the historical milestones of bilateral cooperation, drawing particular attention to the sincere nature of Soviet aid to the young Bengali State in the post-war period and the ongoing effective interaction «in all fields» at the present.

By closing the ceremony, the Head of the Russian Cultural Center noted that Russia has always supported Bangladesh and intends to follow this direction in the future.

ঢাকাস্থ রুশ বিজ্ঞান ও সংস্কৃতি কেন্দ্র (আরসিএসসি) বাংলাদেশ গঠন ও উন্নয়নে ইউএসএসআর এবং রাশিয়ার ভূমিকা নিয়ে একটি গোল টেবিল আলোচনার আয়োজন করেছিল। মুক্তিযুদ্ধ একাডেমী ট্রাস্ট এর সাথে যৌথভাবে এই অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।

মুক্তিযুদ্ধ একাডেমী ট্রাস্ট এর আবুল আজাদ ফাউন্ডেশনের চেয়ারম্যান এবং আরসিএসসির পরিচালক ম্যাক্সিম দোব্রোখোতোভ তাদের বক্তৃতায় দ্বিপাক্ষিক সহযোগিতার ঐতিহাসিক মাইলফলকগুলি অংশগ্রহণকারীদের স্মরণ করিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন, যুদ্ধ পরবর্তী বাঙালি রাষ্ট্রকে সোভিয়েত সহায়তার আন্তরিক প্রকৃতি এবং এবং বর্তমান সময়ে “সকল ক্ষেত্রে” চলমান কার্যকর ভূমিকার প্রতি বিশেষ মনোযোগ আকর্ষণ করা হয়।

সমাপনী বক্তব্যে আরসিএসসির পরিচালক উল্লেখ করেছিলেন যে, রাশিয়া সর্বদা বাংলাদেশকে সহায়তা করে আসছে এবং ভবিষ্যতেও এ ধারা অব্যাহত থাকবে বলে ইচ্ছে প্রকাশ করছি।
